I am selling my 1992 Stratos 285PXL with 1996 Johnson 225 Outboard. The motor is in great shape and has only 8 hours on fresh rebuild. We had all the Pistons and Rings replaced, Head were checked, New Fuel Pump, Flywheel, Carbs Redone, Fuel Lines,Plugs and Wires we had to rebuild motor due to VRO failure and a 2 cylinders dropped, we bypassed the VRO and now add oil straight to the gas. There is some wiring needing to be done on boat to hardwire lights but we started using battery powered navigation lights that work just fine and Coast Guard approved. It has a Brand new 70lb thrust trolling motor. All gauges and bilges and aerators and livewells work. I was going to keep the boat and continuing fishing my tournaments but decided to just get a newer stratos. The boat will do in excess of 70mph easy and runs like a scalded dog. I can arrange shipping with my truck to your location at an extra cost depending on your location price will vary or you can arrange your own shipping thru USHIP or private carrier or pickup in person. I have clear SC Titles for Boat and Motor. Comes with 4 blade prop. I have had the boat evaluated and 3 different marine dealers told me they would list it for around 10k if I traded so I am asking $8,500/OBO There are no electronics included as I am having them installed on my new boat this week. if you have any questions or want further details please do not hesitate to contact me, I am open to reasonable offers but will not give boat away, I do not need or have to sell I just have no need for 3 boats in my yard, so do not waste my time with lowball offers. Only issues at this time are some wiring but I am not going to fix. Buyer is responsible for all inspections and fees associated with them. I do not mind you contacting local marine mechanic and having them come and check boat out for you or if reasonable I can take to a local shop and have inspected for you prior to bidding or buying. Thank you for looking and GOD bless. |
