Just give me an offer. This boat was previously sold but the purchaser became ill and was unable to complete the transaction.. It is probably one of the best Cape Dory Typhoons to be found. Always stored for 6 months indoors and never exposed to anything but fresh water. I continue to restore this boat when I have time. There are absolutely no structural weaknesses. Best estimate is trailer is worth 1200 and has four new tires but needs magnetic trailer lights. Value of boat is about 4500-5000. I have refinished some of the teak. Bottom sanding and and new bottom paint. Hand laid fiberglass about 3 times thicker than today's production boats. Comes with CDI roller furling, main, extra jib, storm jib, spinnaker, danforth anchor and some extra misc lines and rigging. No soft spots. Very safe family boat ready to sail. Trailer has extender for easy launching. Boat-hull in excellent condition-solid with no hairline cracks and new bottom paint. Standing rigging in very good condition. Halyards and lines need to replaced within next five years or so. All sails are in good condition with many years left. Deck is fine but as with all Cape Dory boats, does have hairline cracks that are cosmetic and have no structural significance. Teak recently sanded and oiled. Boat can be fully restored with very little work and money. I am moving from the Muskegon MI area very soon and would like to sell it. I purchased and restored a larger Cape Dory. It is best to email me with any questions. |
