22 foot Catalina sailboat with a swing keel, mast, boom, main and jib sails, rudder and extra sets of sails. Comes with a 1978 Shoreline trailer. 8 HP Mariner motor with easy pull start.I purchased this boat in PA in 1998 from previous owner who used the boat in fresh water. Used for two seasons in brackish water of lower Potomac River.
Extras/features include:- Danforth anchor- transom motor bracket with adjustable tension- multi-season antifouling bottom paint- Pop top.
- Cockpit cushions.- Ladder for use in water- rugged iron keel with sacrificial zinc anodes on keel to prevent galvanic corrosion.- Motor winterized with fogging oilBoat has been stored on trailer for past 10 years (see pictures of covered boat). Some rust on trailer. Condition of wheel bearings and tires is unknown. Since trailer was in brackish water 10 years ago, the wheel bearings are almost certainly shot. Boat is stored on wooded lot and was covered with tarp to keep pine needles and branches from entering cockpit area. Storage location means that tires have been on soft soil surface and in shaded area.I have described this boat as accurately as I possibly can given that I have not used the boat in the past ten years. I have sold two used cars using this ebay account and have 100% positive feedback (all of it older than 12 months).
