Kingfisher is a Mahogany on Oak fishing boat, she was totally rebuilt 4yrs ago from the keel up :- New stainless keel and bilge keel bands All damaged boards replaced and roves tightened. New engine bearers and mounts. Engine rebuilt from the bearing up including pump and injectors 129hrs approx. New auto gearbox Total running time 129hrs approx. New deck and cabin with laminated glass and secure locks. New and unused sea toilet. Rewired and new fuel system including 110lt tank. Two 110amp hr batteries with provision for a third and solar chargers. Lowrance radio, gas hob, under floor storage, red and white cabin deck lights. Boarding ladder and aux engine mount. Auto bilge pump She is an extremely safe boat with waist high side’s ( Keep Kids Safe ) and brilliant sea keeping qualities. She has in the past pulled small nets and worked as a bass line boat. Equally good at anchor and drifting. I have had 5 adults fish from her but 3 is a better number, She will do 4kts against the Morcambe bay race at about 5lts per hr. The boat has been trailered in the past by Tony the Tug.She weighs about 2.7 ton There is a video of her rebuild on Facebook Dinosaur joinery Downside.
