Bereavement Sale..... Fairline 19 cabin cruiser. Hi, and thank you for looking at my late uncles much loved boat. I know nothing about these things, but I do know it was his pride and joy. I have been out on it a few times, and have to say, it is great fun. Only used in fresh water for at least the last 8 years. Same with the outboard. It has a forward cabin with two beds, and a further two berths at the rear under the (2 year old) canopy. It also has a toilet compartment inside, and a small sink in the worktop. There is an anchor and lots of rubber buoy type things that hang round the side of the boat. Don't know the age of it, but the badge says it's number 95. After a bit of digging, I have found that these boats have quite a history. First built in 1967, production finished in the early seventies, so I imagine this is quite an early one. Indeed, Donald Campbell had two of these on Coniston water as support boats for him and the Bluebird. Could it be that this is one of them ??? It comes on a roller trailer, which tows like a dream. I brought it back to my place, and seriously, I really didn't know I had it on. Very smooth and very stable. It has a 30hp Evinrude outboard engine, with electric start and which was serviced early last year. Very little use since then (estimated 10 hours). There are two wheel nut type locks on the outboard bolts, plus an Allpa stainless steel locking cover that goes over the clamp screws. All keys supplied. It also has a very heavy duty 'Stronghold' hitch lock, which he bought last summer. Again, all keys supplied. So, a very original, early Fairline 19 (the first cruiser ever built by this very well known company), in lovely condition. Would love to keep her (esp as she is named after my mother), but circumstances dictate etc, etc, etc. So grab yourself a bit of history, and get set for some summer cruising in this lovely looking boat. Would prefer for you to pick up, but can deliver if needed at £1.50 a mile. Will need payment in advance for delivery. Cash on collection please. Many thanks for looking.
