Regal Sebring 195 XL Cuddy in great condition, everything working perfectly. I have owned this 1988 American built Regal Sebring 195XL Cuddy since 2011. She has been in storage whilst undergoing a full renovation including the removal and replacement of the deck, which has now been laminated on top of 18mm marine ply, super strong and professionally done. Over the last 5 year (when spare time permits) I have replaced all the following items, all of which have only just been commissioned. Replacement starterWater pump and beltsGimble bearingPlugs, leads, distributor cap, rotor and points & oil + filterCarburettor removed, stripped, sonic cleaned and rebuiltManifold end plates and new riserGearbox oil change & new impeller, pumps water perfectlyWater thermostat, temperature and oil pressure sendersNew interior and sun lounger seatingFull coverExternal cut and polishNew battery (this week)Trim switches and pump overhaul + new trim oil (this week)Leg trim rams removed and overhauled (this week) Interior Both side panels have been made in GRP, I have replaced the new sun lounger seating and rear engine bulkhead and cover. There are two additional seats either side of the engine cover. The front cuddy cushioned area is all in great condition, no rips or tears, comfortable sleeps two if you fancy a night on the anchor. All the dials and switches work perfectly. Hull & Exterior The boat has been anti-fouled and this is one job which I have not done. Not in too bad condition so I think this should be done next year. The actual gel coat is in very good condition so too is the burgundy gel, only a few minor marks. Full Boat cover and also has a half size white bimini top. Trailer Trailer bearings are all good, one new replaced. It’s not the best of trailers but road worthy and solid. The whole package weighs in at approx. 2 tons, so you will need a 2.5 diesel 4x4 of sorts to tow her, she tows well. There is a full ratchet strap and lighting board, ready to go. Mechanics The engine and leg/gearbox are all sounding smooth and operate perfectly. This week the leg was stuck in the up position, a common problem when left for long periods. The trim pump was stripped and cleaned with new oil, and the culprit being the rams. These were removed, un-seized and overhauled. All now working as they should.
