After three years of owning Blue Pearl I have decided that I will never become a sailor. I live 185 miles from my mooring and I can`t get down to sail her as much as she deserves. Blue Pearl is an up together sailing boat that can be instantly taken to sea and has all the equipment she needs to be sailed safely.There are a few minor jobs that can be done by the new owner, but, nothing that is urgent and she is big enough to be sailed for a week or more with a family or could be used as a live aboard.The mooring that is in the River Plym. Plymouth can be taken on by the new owner.Blue Pearl is as follows:-Length O. A 9mBeam 9`7" 2.92mDisplacement (excluding user payload) 7616 lbsDraft(excluding user payload)4`9" 1.45mLength W.L. (upright and excluding user payload) 24` 7.32mIOR rating 6.44m 21.1ftSleeps 4 Plus 1 in the quarter-berth.Blue Pearl is a well found little yacht, which is perfect which is perfect for a first yacht or upgrade.She was originally molded in 1994 and only partially fitted out at that time. She was then raced successfully in the River Black Water. Essex until 2013 when I purchased her.The interior was of low quality so I have installed new marine ply floors, sole boards,headboards and a new galley. All surfaces have been painted in White in Hempel code 10001 marine paint. She has a light airy interior, which benefits from Mahogany trim,Her Sails are not new but are in good shape and are in good order.Large No. 1 goodNo.3 good.Mainsail OKSpinnaker Good.Her Mast ,boom and spinnaker pole are all in good order including her running rigging, much of which is Dynema.She has a 6 Man Life-raft.(needs a service)Her machinery is serviced and in good working order.She is fitted with a sail-drive version of the Volvo 2002. Volvos last proper marine engine. The engine hours are low,approx 300 hrs. the sail-drive seal was changed in 2014.The fuel tank and piping are all new.There are two new batteries,and much of the wiring is new,replaced with tinned tri- rated cable and LED lighting fitted.the galley has a sink,and running fresh water with new plumbing and she is fitted with a cheap and safe to run alcohol twin burner stoveBlue Pearl is fitted with an Erberspacher D4 Diesel air blow heater which makes her a pleasure to be on board,even in winter ,dry and warm!She is antifouled with International 2 Season Antifoul, so she is good for another season and is currently in the water and can be instantly sailed.More Photos can be emailed to interested as Ebay ,for some unknown reason stopped down loading the rest of my photos.The boat can be viewed by prior arrangement with me and viewing is highly recommended.Payment will be on transfer of ownership and relocation around the UK can be arranged.My Phone No is 07798881347 .
