Description

This is our boat Felicita meaning happiness in Italian. Felicita was built as a special order for Commander George Alfred Pepper. She was commissioned in 1960 and built by Richmond slipways to a very high standard with Teak planking with Oak frames and Teak decks. She was rebuilt and slightly altered in 1993 by the renowned shipwright Ben Johnson.  Felicita is a very good example of a Thames cruiser and has been much loved and very well maintained. The engine is a Diesel BMC 2.2 Commander which starts on the button first time, burns no oil and has no oil leaks, oils and filters changed every 100 hours. She has three new batteries which are charged through a CTEK XS25000, hot water is generated with a Webasto diesel eberspacher and calorifier which are fitted on a timer, the saloon has two bench seats and a large dinning table that folds down to make a double bed, 240volt fridge, stainless steel two ring cooker with oven and grill and a stainless steel sink with drainer and pressurized water, ample storage, the heads have a sink, hot and cold water and a cassette toilet, two single beds aft, there are two diesel tanks port and starboard side (fuel tanks nearly full) and a large fresh water tank at the bow. she has a boat safety certificate which expires on 28th June 2019. There is also a 2011 survey report which reports no recommendations.
Felicita is a very dry and comfortable boat and will give you years of pleasure.
