Hello, and thank you for looking at My Hurley 22  'Rochelle' long keel sailing yacht. Located in Falmouth, Cornwall. I bought this boat to take up sailing after a lifetime of motor cruising and love it so sold my motor cruiser and bought a Beneteau 350 yacht hence the sale of the Hurley. Her professional survey is available to see by any interested buyers. A rare boat with an inboard diesel engine. Engine and instruments manuals available and other paperwork. I believe from research that I am 'Rochelle's' 6th custodian. She is clearly a much loved yacht and a strong following of the make in the West Country. Active owners club that I'm a member off. Lots of history on the internet of the fantastic adventures these little yachts have had. I have a number of test reports available. She's a superb safe little sailing yacht capable and forgiving, ideal to start sailing or if your looking to down size she sails like a big yacht.Built in 1974 by Hurley Marine, hull number 8272 and re-engined with a Yanmar 10HP inboard diesel engine in 1992. Very few Hurley's have inboard engines. Most have outboards sat in an aft cockpit well making reversing very tricky. With the inboard she performs very well in astern. The outboard well is a very useful and large storage locker. Cruising speed about 5knts and 6.5kts max. Shore power fitted and a solar battery charger that keeps the battery's charged when on her swinging mooring. Her condition is excellent for a 42 year old boat. I have just polished her and antifouled for the 2016 season and she has just been relaunched April 7th 2016. Her original GRP hull polishes to a shine like a new yacht as the pictures show. Her mast was stepped 2015 and all rigging etc checked by a professional rigger all was fine only had the mast mounted halyard winch replaced. The standing rigging was all replaced in 2003 and the running rigging at the same time. She has a mainsail, furling genoa that was recut and a new UV strip fitted in 2012.  Also a spinaker and spinaker pole. The sails were professionally laundered in 2014.Her engine has been professionally serviced by a marine engineer. The accommodation comprises double forward berth with privacy curtain, jabasco marine sea toilet under the forward part of the berth with infill cushion. The seacock was replaced in 2015.Galley has stainless sink with manual pumped freshwater, single gas stove, plenty of storage lockers throughout the cabin and below the berths. Quarter berths pot and starboard. Navigation equipment comprises:Cobra DSC VHF radio.Garmin 72 GPS interfaced with VHF radio 2012NASA Clipper log 2012Nasa Clipper Depth 2012Autohelm 1000 autopilotTricolour at masthead,StereoPlastimo contest compass.Inventory includes.20lb CQR anchor, 10m chain and 25m warp.Fenders and mooring lines.boat hookBrush.Sail Cover.Sail bag.Dodgers.Cockpit cover.Manual bilge pump.Automatic Bilge pumpTow batteries and isolator for engine and house electrics. Finally 'Rochelle' comes with a pair of professionally made beaching legs and fittings which is shown in one of the pictures so drying out is possible and mid season scrub without a lift out. 'Rochelle' is on a swinging Mooring which is paid to Sept 2016 and can go with the boat. Mooring is just of Falmouth and the public slipway for dingy launching to get to her.I will be sailing 'Rochelle' this season and continue to look after her until she sells. My other boat is laid up for the time being. I can't justify both yachts unfortunately.Any inspection wellcome. I split my time between Falmouth, Cornwall, where 'Rochelle' is and North Wales. She is currently in Falmouth Premier Marina and I will be down on 16th April to move her to her swinging mooring so any viewings from 16th for that week are possible. The 16th or 17th whilst still on the marina making life easier if your seriously interested.Cash on collection. Any inspection or questions don't hesitate to contact me.
