Up for sale is my much loved Red Jacket Trailer Sailer. It is 18" foot or 5.3 metres. Very easy and safe to sail for any level of experience. From 1 to 5 people, sale includes 5 life jackets.Boat (hull)Professionally built in the 80's and the boat does not require rego or a licence to operate in Queensland. Other states I'm not sure.It is a half cabin and is quite comfortable for two people to sleep in. It does have 4 spots to sleep. It is in good condition with many new rigging parts fitted over the last 3 years that I have owned it. It has minor barnacles on the bottom that I'm too lazy to scrape off (2 hours with shovel). It could do with a touch up in the paint department. There are no hull leaks. Easily one person sailed. Power (electric)There is limited wiring that run the navigation lights and automatic bilge pump.Solar panel to charge the battery, both 2 years old.There is an 8 switch switchboard with fuses if you wanted to easily add things.The Rigging,Main (rear sail) battened asymmetrical (square top) sail. No rips or holesJib (front sail) No rips or holes.All sheets (ropes) are there and in good condition. 2 Tillers (rudders) a smaller (professionally made) plastic one and a larger (home made) timber one that is in the photos. I use the timber one as you can go faster. The mast and stainless cables that hold it up are in good working condition. The mast is easily put up by one person. I'm happy to teach you.2 large ratchets for the Jib one each side of the seating area.Boat has an anchor with 5 metres chain and 50 meters of rope. Motor The 2008 Mercury 3.98Hp outboard motor is included and it was serviced last year by Nitro Marine and has only been used once since service. It has always worked flawlessly and you get about 4 hours under motor at 4-6 knots per 2L tank of 2 stroke. Premium fuel with Sthil oil always used. Trailer is included in sale.2 year old winch with high tensile rope and stainless hook.The Trailer is old and would require some work to get back to A1 condition. It will allow you to take the boat home. I purchased this boat on eBay around three years ago and have been out on it more than 100 times. until 12 months ago. Taking many overnight trips as well as many quick 2 hours sessions afterwork. I am only selling the boat as I have no time for it anymore due to a baby.This is a great boat and will provide its new owner many hours of almost free boating enjoyment.Boat is located on the Northern end of the Gold Coast and I am happy to show it to interested parties prior to auction ending.You are bidding to BUY not chat about the boat.
