Its the new and better of the X-10 and with the X-star wakes its one of the best Mastercraft has made.Reviewer: MacDaddy08/04/2007 12:00am This boat will throw a huge surfing wake if you load the boat the right way. Consider throwing some fatSacs on one side or in only one compartment on the rear. Also note which way you ride and load that side. I happen to live on a lake so I know people with every kind of boat known to man. The centurion are cheeper... but hey guess what they have horrible resale value and are kinda crappy. If you want a great boat MasterCraft, Malibu and Correct Craft's are your best choice... stay away from the cheep ones you will never have a good day on the water! Also note how much better all of these brands are made and look up the numbers on how many are sold, where they are sold, where they are made, how they are made, with what materials, etc and then why everything is the way it is on them. Where the battery is, the amps, the impeller, the exhaust etc... You will find that from the serviceing end to the user-abiltiy of the boat that MasterCraft has engineered them to excell beyond the rest. You get what you pay for with these productsReviewer: Greg Cashen07/11/2007 12:00am Just bought this one after testing every MC known to man. Not really, but I tested X*, X2, X45 and X15, and the X15 is the best of all worlds, by far! The wake is bigger than the X2 for wakeboarding with the same amount of weight. For surfing, the X2 is not so good. Neither is the XStar. The X15 is totally rideable, but not as big as my old '01 X10. This is mainly due to the much larger size of the X15 and the fact that it takes so much more weight to load it down. For comfort and storage, this boat is second only to the X-Star or X45, but the 45 is a hog in the water and had a pretty $^%@ wake for both surfing and wake. I think this boat is just barely below the XStar in terms of performance, but for the X15 is definitely the way to go.Reviewer: David James07/05/2007 12:00am My son talked me into getting this boat as he wanted to get into wakeboarding. We have used the boat 3-4 times a week since and had a great time.
