This is one of the best sailing boats afloat. will sail at 3 to 5 knots when others cannot move, literally. will sail the speed of the wind up till hull speed, it is a sailing machine, sleeps 6 with a double forward, two settee births and two quarter births. one pic shows life jackets and the blue covers are custom made for boom and behind backstay. used once, for sun or rain when anchored. bed cushions are all in good condition.tons of storage under births if going cruising. not dirty or smelly. has 3 mains, 2 racing, one is real good, mylar, dacron for cruising or racing in heavy airs. no,1, no,2, no,3, times 2. masthead kite, 3/4 kite. masthead in light airs, there is no one will catch you. you are doing 5 knots in 2 knots of air. has a hydraulic lift keel with a lead bulb. 6 foot draft when down. retracts in a few seconds with the push of a button.has manual backup in rear locker where helmsman sits. has a porta potti, has a poptop on cabin for the whitsundays. trailer has a bit of surface rust, not structual. just about ready for re gal. tyres are good, disc brakes, gal wheels. 1200 kg's to tow. pull behind a cruiser no probs if going intersate. we race her with only two up, most of the time and still give them a hiding. i have sailed most boats at some time, this has been the most fun by far. you can see another boat 5 miles ahead, run it down without a problem, sail around them 3 or 4 times while having a chat and piss off back home, have it on the trailer back at the club and they are still 2 hours from home. we use approx 10 dollars of fuel a year. it comes with a twin evinrude sailor long shaft. runs perfect, always flushed out. only reason i am selling is i am going big to sail the world. two of us launch and retrieve 2 min each way. never any longer. car pulls in and out at ramp no problem. answers to questions, remove unused sails, double forward, 2 quarter births leaving salon clear. toilet in forward double birth. will motor at 8 knots plus. engine is a twin long shaft evinrude. never misses a beat. it will outsail any boat of comparible lengthand much bigger. has anchor and rhode, open transom, easy to get aboard from swimming. keel lifts with hydraulic electric motor, has manual if needed. press button, up and down. can anchor in 2 feet of water with keel up. you will never get on a slug again. all the latest boats are the same design. fine entry, wide flat bum, wide transom, stable at anchor. |
