This Bermudan Yawl day sailer is designed by Mike Greenwood and built by Norman Whyte, formerly of Findhorn, the design approved by John Watkinson. It has a fixed keel with 300lbs of lead ballast. The rig has booms on mainsail and mizzen and a masthead jib with roller reefing. She has a foredeck and is partially decked aft. She is superbly built from Brunzeel 10mm ply lapstrake epoxied and has Sitka spruce spars. The wood epoxy cabin , built by John S Hill at Fairlie in 2007 allows for 2 berths a spirit cooker and reasonable amount of stowage and storage. The sails and all rigging are in excellent condition.Beeswing takes to the open water with great surety and is in tip top shape, she draws 4ft and has a fixed rudder as well as keel. Her original paintwork is inn excellent condition and of best quality.All the receipts and specifications are present, and there is a fore and aft deck cover as well as the cockpit tonneau, and the cushion covers below deck are in as new condition.The launching trailer is 2011 and made by Supersede of Brightlingsea with a 1365 capacity, being twice the vessels weight. It hasn't ever been used for launching or recovering.There is a 5hp Honda outboard with less than 60 hours.Can deliver at reasonable cost, it tows very nicely.
