After eight great years sailing around the Greek Islands its sadly time to sell our Gibsea 84 sailing yacht.  Jason is a very well looked after ex-charter boat which we have meticulously kept maintained and improved. This year we've fitted a brand new Lofrans electric anchor windlass plus 50m of new chain. The engine (Volvo Penta 2002) was professionally rebuilt with new big end bearings, piston rings and the head completely overhauled,  it now runs like new.  We've also fitted a new solar panel and charger and replaced one of the two batteries. The sails are in good condition and easily have a decade of cruising left in them. There is also an auto helm for longer journeys and a fixed bimi to keep the sun off whilst cruising plus a bigger bimi for keeping cool whilst moored.A small tender is included which is a bit ragged but perfectly useable (though I'd recommend carrying a pump :o) there's also a 6 person life raft mounted in a valise on the roof, this does need servicing. Below you'll find two separate cabins, both with good sized double beds plus two additional bunks in the salon. We've had a few holidays with four adults on board and she's never felt cramped.   The galley has a gimbled grill and hob plus a small fridge.  The separate heads has a sea toilet with holding tank and sink. The shower is outside with hot water from a calorifier. The boat comes with everything you'll need including pots, pans, plates, etc. Tool kits, drill, GPS, instruments (log & depth), life jackets,  charts, books, guides, snorkel and flippers, even a spear gun, you name it its probably on board or you won't need it.Things for consideration are the headlining in the forward cabin needs resticking, a small piece of panelling has come off the floor trim and the bilge pump needs a new head.  None of this would cost more than 100 euros to fix.Jason is a strong and safe boat who has taken us comfortably through some big seas. She's small enough to always sneak into a mooring but big enough to not feel cramped. A few years ago we were lucky enough to spend four months on her exploring the beautiful islands of Greece, mooring outside traditional tavernas and swimming in secluded anchorages. Jason is ashore in Poros just one hour from Athens and is due to go back in the water early June.  She is looked after by Poros Marine who arrange all maintenance and lifting the boat for winter. Currently we pay £100 per month which pretty much pays for everything. So owning Jason is much cheaper than chartering.I've priced the boat for a quick sale.    We're only selling as my girlfriend has told me its time to buy a house and we need a deposit.  Feel free to contact me with any questions
