1990 Fairline Targa 27 (29ft) which I believe to be in Great condition. Engines are great, We bought the boat in 2014 off my mate where we had the boat prepared to make it good and reliable for the sole purpose of cruising the rivers and the sea . The boat has been fantastic, It always turns heads, very modern looking with the new uninterupted polarized full wide windscreen. The boat performs well in both river and ocean use where it will quite comfortably cruise along on one engine at 6knots or running 25knots in a lumpy English sea! This Fairline is superb and ultra reliable; having two Volvo Penta AD31A 130hp diesel engines. Two Volvo 290 duo props. Very economical and just flies, easily getting up onto the plane and stays there, even in the chop. A fantastic sea boat. The engine has been extremely well maintained and looked after and sits in a good, clean engine bay which can also be used as a light storage facility, for fishing tackle and other boaty wares. When we bought the boat we had both turbos replaced for brand news on both engines and the boat just loves it, as it certainly made a big difference to it's performance. Last summer, we took the time to update various bits and pieces and had a full service of both engines and outdrives; new oil filters, fuel filters, new alternators, new belts, oil change, etc (see below). Last summer we also had brand new expensive covers made to make her fully watertight as the previous ones took a bashing in France and were a bit worse for wear. a super sturdy & extremely solid boat which easily sleeps 4 large adults with the housing of a rear double berth cabin, very unusual for a boat this size to have a separate bedroom. The front double berth comes from the lounge seating area converting to a large king size bed. This Targa 27 is a great weekend liveabord or even full term liveabord as it has a very functional and comfortable space and layout.
