The Astus 20.2 is a transportable trimaran. It is easy to trail from one cruising ground to an other one, it weighs only around 400kg. It can be launched and sailed single handed or with a crew or family. Being so light it can be towed behind most medium-sized cars. The braked trailer is carefully designed to help launch the boat without effort.From arrival at the slipway to launching the boat usually takes less than 30 minutes. The hulls are simply held by telescopic aluminium beams which means it is quick and easy to extend the boat from its 2.45m width when on the trailer to the 4.25m width when sailing.This is the 'sport' version of the boat which means it has upgraded sails (jib & main are in pentex) a large Gennaker, adjustable backstays and an upgrade mainsheet and traveller.The cabin is large enough for 1 or 2 to sleep in, and the boat comes with the optional inside cushions and V-berth infill. The engine included in the sale is a Tohatsu 6HP which more than powerful enough for the boat. It also comes with an external 10L tank.Barr Avel is in very good condition and has never been kept in the water for more than a week at a time.
