Quite simply the most beautiful harbour in the UK (see picture). Céolsige is berthed on B12 which is a fully serviced marina berth and available at all states of the tide. Water and electricity on the pontoon, and a quay for drying out at the harbour. I use Tarbert Ship Shape for monthly valeting and I travel up from the South where there are plentiful low cost flights to Glasgow airport. Low cost car hire and a really pleasant 2 hour drive to Tarbert. There are plentiful seafood restaurants and lots of activities durung the season, such as the Scottish Series 27-30 May, Seafood Festival 2-3 July, Traditional Boat Festival 15-17 July as well as Music and Book Festivals too.
What about the sailing? A real joy. The great advantage is that there are so many places to go that are within easy reach and all have Hotel or visitors moorings. For example (distance in nautical miles):
