The Hunters are amongst the best performing bilge-keeled yachts on the market, 'Yachting Monthly' describing them as a ".... lively yet stable boat to sail, light on the helm and responsive".The Hunter Horizon 26 is a David Thomas design for Hunter Boats, intended to be a slightly larger, more cruising-orientated version of the 25 foot Hunter Delta, itself a development of the very successful Hunter Sonata 24 foot one design cruiser-racer. Introduced in 1984, the Horizon 26 design was one of the first small British-built boat to have what was then the unusual feature of an aft cabin. The design was a success, with about 160 built in four years, and led on to the later Horizon 27, 272 and variants. Although fin and lift-keel Horizon 26s were built, the majority were twin bilge keeled, these twin keels being fairly deep and giving good performance under sail. The Horizon 26 design remained in production until 1988.
Wine Trek is a 2 owner boat from new in excellent condition and has been well maintained. Sadly for sale on behalf of my elderly parents. Built in 1988 with open plan salon and double aft cabin this is a very roomy and spacious boat for her size. Complete with Echo sounder, wind instruments, main sail, furling genoa, jib, genoa, cruising chute, spinnaker, cockpit locker and self tailing winches. There are 6 berths in 2 cabins with open plan saloon, separate heads with sea toilet and basin and double aft cabin. The galley has a gas oven with ice box and sink.  There is an anchor with chain and warp, boarding ladder, spray hood, life buoy, bilge pump. Wine Trek is was a fully completed version from the factory and not a kit.
