Phantom 18 with Johnson 150 VRO and twin axle snipe breakback trailer. Boat cost £4800 to put together last year, receipts to prove. Engine: 1990s 150 VRO, perfect working order, regularly serviced (this seasons already done) with good PTT. VRO has been preemptively removed as these are known to fail. (I have a 20hr old 175 Evinrude in parts that will attest to this!). No bad points on this engine, starts first time every time. Boat: 1990s 18ft Phantom in original blue gel coat and orginal black and blue piped vinyl interior. Gelcoat polishes up nicely but does have some crazing and marks as expected for the age. Underside gelcoat looks near new since it's been out of the sun. Interior is fairly smart but there are a few small holes here and there. Fillable water balast tank in the bow with control levers inbetween front seats, cables have got stuck over winter but should a quick fix if you want to race her. Trailer: Twin axle Snipe breakback. 2 wheels new in 2015, 2 speed winch fitted April 16, extendable trailer board connects to rear of trailer. Needs new tyre on the jockey wheel and the bearings were last changed in late 2014 so these will need doing too. Boat has been used for around 15hrs this weekend and performed flawlessly. With the right prop 70mph is probably achievable, current prop managed a GPS speed of 62mph with 2 people on board and 56mph with 5 people. Cash on collection.
