i bought this boat a few yrs ago and had in mind putting a duramax inboard in it but have gone another direction and now have it up for sale!! My son and I took up the deck and found some evil in the stringers and puled them too-- I guess you could say the hard part is done! If you look closely you can see we left a small edge of the finished deck all the way around the inside for a guide- There are so many different options with this boat, inboard, inboard outboard, single, double or even triple outboards! These hulls are hard to find and anyone will tell you the old ones are constructed alot different { and in my opinion alot better}. Design the deck anyway you like, place hatches, storage, fish boxes etc wherever you like!The dusky is known for its durability and strength, I fished one of these boats for many years in south fla and it was the best driest ride i had in a center console this unique model is a 256fc, the fc stands for forward cabin. in reality you get the best of both worlds. center console and cabin with tons of room for dry storage! included is the console, plastic tank and the newer leaning post/livewell. someone is going to get a great boat with alot of potential at an even better value. The cabin is in excellent condition as is usually the case given its protected from the elements. THE TRAILER IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE but is available.
