Up for sale is my 2010 Godfrey Hurricane 188 Sundeck. I bought this boat brand new in 2010. She is powered by Yamaha 150 4 stroke outboard that runs perfect. This is a great all around boat that gets very good fuel economy. It is plenty fast enough to ski or tube behind and is rated to carry 10 people. This boat has been serviced annually and comes with a 30-day powertrain warranty. It was stored in a dry stack storage building much of its life but it has been outside some as well. This is a write up on the Yamaha motor that is on the boat. This motor has 4 times the life expectancy that an inboard engine or a 2 stroke outboard engine has. It also gets double the fuel economy. I ALWAYS call what is right and what is wrong with the stuff that I sell on eBay. My 100% rating proves that. Do not believe for a second that there are any 2010 boats that are perfect. They were not perfect when they were brand new. Yet sellers and dealers do not disclose any problems until you are the high bidder and you go to pick up the boat. I call it like it is and show pictures of any issues. There are no secrets with my listing. That is why my rating is 100%. I am unaware of anything else that is wrong with the boat other than what I have listed below. This boat is getting professional compounded and waxed this week. Pictures are prior to clean up. The motor and drive operate properly. I am happy to include a 30 day powertrain warranty as I am confident of the condition of the motor. The motor has just been major serviced, filters, oil, impeller, within the last 5 hours. The engine looks brand new under the cowling. The engine was sprayed with corrosion guard when it was brand new. The engine cowling has scratches and touch up paint but overall is in solid condition. (pictures) The engine compression ratios are as follows on a cold motor. #1=155psi #2=155psi #3=160psi #4=160psi. Yamaha minimum compression for the F150 is 135psi within 10% This boat has been used 200 or so hours per season with no major repair or problems. The rub rail around the boat has been rubbed. It shows normal wear (pictures) This boat has hydraulic steering that makes steering easier. (many do not) Striping is in fair shape. The seats are in decent shape. There are a couple small holes and the drives captians chair has a couple stiches that have let loose (pictures) The bimini top is in decent shape, with some small dents on the stainless framing. The switches and dash plastics have some sun fading. The batteries and cables are new this year. There are usual chips and scrapes in this boat. It is in average condition for a 2010 The gauges were upgraded to new Yamaha command link digital gauges last year. All systems on the boat work. High quality marine stereo works great new last year. This boat is solid. Solid Floors, Solid transom no structural issues whatsoever. Overall this boat is in average shape for its age. It is a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. That means that it is not brand new it also means that it is a decent useable boat that is ready for the summer. If you want a good used boat this one is for you. If you want a new one like this get ready to plunk down $30,000 plus. I do not have a used trailer for this boat but I do have a brand new 2016 magic tilt aluminum trailer that I would sell for $2195 if the high bidder wants a trailer. A trailer is not included in this auction. Finally, this is a no reserve auction. The high bidder at auction end will be the new owner. Bid on it. This is an auction. Please have permission from your wife, husband, father, mother, sister, brother, partner, banker, bookie or anyone else that could halt the purchase BEFORE you bid on my boat. I report all none paying bidders to eBay. I do not cancel any of my auctions. I do not end auctions early. If you want this boat…bid on it. Money must clear the bank and be in my account for me to release the boat and sign over the ownership paperwork. This must take place within 7 days of auction end. There is no loan on the boat it is owned free and clear. Of course if I grossly misrepresented the boat I would not expect you to buy it. Thanks and happy bidding.
On Jun-02-16 at 14:35:27 PDT, seller added the following information:I wanted to clarify that the trailer that the boat is on in the pictures is for a 26 foot boat. The new trailer that I have available is on order and should be in early next week. It is a single axle aluminum trailer that is specifically designed for this Hurricane. Sorry for any confusion.
On Jun-02-16 at 15:46:42 PDT, seller added the following information:One other thing that has come to my attention. This is a 2010 Sundeck Sport 188 Hurricane. It was built late in 2010. It is not listed in NADA.com because 2011 was the first year Hurricane put the Sundeck Sport 188 into full production. They built very few in 2010. This is one of them. If you are looking for book value on this boat average retail value of a 2011 Hurricane Sundeck Sport with a 150 HP Yamaha is $16,700. That is just the boat with the motor. No adds for trailer or any options that the boat has. This boat is a 2010 so it is worth 10% less than that. Average retail value on this boat with no warranty is $15,000 or so. Remember that this boat has a 30 day powertrain warranty. Thanks
