Here is my wooden yacht for sale. It is a Holman Stirling who designed and built great yachts. This one was built in 1962. I am selling as I don't have time to spend on her any longer. She is in really good condition although does need some updating. The hull is iron keel, pitch pine then mahogany planking. Planking above water line is splined which gives such a smooth finish with no plank joins showing. I have a survey from 2013 and all the recommendations where implemented. She has an aluminium mast with a wooden boom that i refurbished over winter, new sail track and revarnish with two pack. Last winter the galley was refitted with a new sink and two burner spirit cooker set into a custom made red cedar strip cabinet top. I also made a foldaway table which was part of the original spec. She has four berths, two singles in main cabin and a vee berth forward. She has a baby blake marine toilet. I have had most of the deck fittings regalvanised along with the twin back stay brackets. I have lots of history, receipts and a full set of plans. The engine is a perkins perama 29hp three cylinder diesel in great condition also. Just fitted a new propeller and shaft. The anode has also just been replaced. The main sail is in good condition but the genoa is serviceable but will need replacing. Myself and a boatbuilder i know have done lots of maintenance on her over the years. She isn't perfect but you won't find a hull in such fine order.
