For sale i have a Rinker 240 -1997 Sports Cruiser This boat is in lovely condition and has been very well looked after. We are the second owners of the boat, purchasing it from Lake Windermere 4 years ago. It lives in a barn over the winter months and used from North Fambridge marina during the summer. We are sadly selling due to wanting an upgrade in ski boat. It is fitted with a 5.7L V8 Mercruiser engine and an Alpha one leg, which i have personally serviced:
Replacing oil + filter every year
Spark plugs
Changing the leg oil
Two x Leg bellows (of which are in new condition)
Anodes changes every year.
Waterproof geese to all pointsI use International for the anti fouling along with international primer. This has already been done for this year. Every year we give it a light gel coat cut then a 3M polish, as can be seen from the photos the gel coat is in lovely condition. Everything on the boat works, starts and runs lovely on petrol. Leg trims up and down perfectly with very light steering. Very smooth in and out of gear for forward and reverse. Trim tabs work.  We have made a very nice hard wood deck for the rear of the boat making this a great place to ski from and also bbq! It is also fitted with underwater lights, a shower and small door. Below deck you have a sea toilet with holding tank and basin, lpg oven and hob, sick, table with seating area for 4 adults. The main seating area turns into a double bed. There is also a second bedroom area which holds a king size mattress. All below deck has ceiling lighting. The deck has 3 seating areas, 2 seats at the driving position, 2 seats behind the driver and a large L shape rear seat. All vinyl is in great condition. The split screen allows easy access to the front deck. All gauges work. Has a large storage area in one side and another under the drivers seat. Radio has 2 speakers below deck and 2 at the rear of the boat. Covers. It comes with:
A bimini cover, which contains 4 lights.
A full canopy, with 4 poles making the inside space very family friendly.
A tourney cover
All covers are in fantastic condition and where made by Canvas Man four years ago. Engine bay is accessed easily via lifting up the rear seat which stays up by itself. Engine bay holds the fresh water tank one side and the waste tank the other, lpg bottle for the cooker and hob, 2 x Marine batteries (the change over switch is accessed on deck) Comes with 4 large blue bouys with stainless steel holders. Anchor comes with a large amount of chain and rope. The twin axel trailer is great condition, i have re carpeted the runners as this is a drive on and off trailer.
