This is my Lune Longboat, she is in very good condition for an early Character Boat model. She is a balanced lug sloop. She is light and easy to manoeuvre on the trailer, rigs in less than ten minutes on your own. Easy to launch and recover. She sails in the lightest of air through to a good blow, very stable due to the shallow long keel which has lead encapsulated and a galvanised swing keel to stiffen her up to windward. She slips through the water without a ripple slipping along at good speeds. She has three storage compartments and plenty of buoyancy. Two halyards and three sheets make this easy for one or a family to sail. A truly wonderful dinghy that I have sailed in the open sea and inland lakes.
She comes complete with galvanised trailer that has new suspension units and hubs. She comes complete with rig, and rigging with new stainless steel stays. She comes with anchor and oars. Everything you need to go sailing and ready to take away. Lighting board and strap included but you will need your own reg plate. Winter cover included.
