This is a lovely classic speedboat for restoration by someone with time and basic DIY skills. The package includes an exceptional trailer, Healthy and powerful, Marina 20 hp outboard, boat cover and accessories pictured.The trailer was built by a time served engineer using a galvanized caravan chassis. As a result in tows superbly and is incredibly stable. It is extremely well thought out and in great condition.The outboard ran perfectly the last time it was used and I see no reason why it should need any work whatsoever before the next outing.The boat has a solid hull which is in excellent structural condition and the screen is not cracked and fits very well. However, as you will see from the pictures, the stringers (the wooden runners which run the length of the boat) are rotten at the rear. What is needed is to cut out the deck and re-fit these and bond them in. Its not a difficult job, all you will need is time and basic tools to do it, regretfully, I do not have the time as I have recently started a new business. The parts and materials needed are available from John Broom of Broom boats, he can make up a repair kit for you.
