35ft All Steel Narrowboat Project, c. 1975.This boat is offered for auction and viewing before bidding is strongly recommended.Vessel is a 35ft Springer Fabrications Narrowboat with a BMC 1.5 Diesel / Hurth type gearbox.Visually in poor appearance, this vessel was fully overplated in November 2012 here at Pilling’s Lock Marina and a bill for almost £7k is available to show this. Plating was in 6mm steel and covered the whole bottom sections of the V-hull aup to the first rubbing strip on the sides and included the swim/transom.The vessel has been left unattended ever since and is now offered for auction.Fitted with Morso LPG hot water boiler, 12v fridge, cooker & hob, Multifuel Stove, vanity sink, cupboards & seating, the vessel is partially fitted but need work to finish it.This boat must be viewed in person before bidding and it is entirely up to the prospective purchaser to ensure all data on the vessel and it’s condition are verified independently as no liability can be assumed by the Broker or Current Owner.The vessel has no valid BSSC (Boat Safety Cert) or any License. Mooring fees are payable from purchase date. The existing owner has been asked to remove the vessel from the marina due to it’s poor condition so we must make it clear that unless external improvements are made within 28 days of purchase, the existing mooring must be vacated.This is a project that has the benefit of an assured good hull and current owner believes engine to be operational.
