For sale is an extremely rare one of a kind 2007 Cobalt 242 Wake Sports Edition powerboat in the 3 Color Custom gel option. It was originally ordered with nearly every factory option available, including all the major options. (There are 60 pictures below- you may need to double scroll to see them all)
With seating capacity for 13, this Cobalt is spacious and luxurious. It was optioned with the rare, hard to find top of the line Mercruiser 496HO 8.1L 425HP engine ($15,050 option) and a Bravo III outdrive with dual stainless props. Overall it is 26' long with the extended swim platform.
For the true performance enthusiast it also has the very rare Captain's Call/Silent Choice Corsa Performance Exhaust. ($4665 option)
At the flip of a switch select the exhaust to be completely unrestricted or flow through the lower drive into the water for a quiet cruise. There is nothing like the sound of the 496HO big block motor through the performance exhaust. The boat has 225 Hours on it (all freshwater) and is in excellent condition. During the winter months it was in heated storage and the annual maintenance was always done. We are the second owners of this rare boat.
With the 425HP HO motor this Cobalt has endless power for watersports and cruising, It can handle big water with ease and run to 60+ MPH in strong elegant fashion.
The boat was optioned with the Stainless Arch/Wakeboard Edition Package.($10,421 option) It includes a factory Cobalt Stainless Arch Wakeboard Tower, a Sunbrella WakeTower Bimini Top, two Wakeboard Racks, and a rear-view mirror for all water-sports. It also has the beautiful stainless docking lights option. ($1251 option) The boat has an incredible amount of storage front to back.
There isn’t another 242 setup/optioned like this boat anywhere in the country. It is very rare to find one setup with the 496HO 425HP motor(not the 375hp Mag), Captain's Call performance exhaust, Stainless Wakeboard Arch, docking lights, extended swim platform with LED lighting, filler cushions, and the list goes on and on. This boat has custom made Faux Teak decking on the rear of the boat and the walkthrough.
It is stain resistant and soft as cotton. It is an anti-slip surface and grips bare feet/shoes when wet.
It is very comfortable to sit or lay on and helps prevent slips. This was a $1500 upgrade.
Also added were a pair of underwater Blue Ocean LED Brand lights below the rear extended swim platform. This makes for an amazing glowing pool for night swimming and a
beautiful glowing afterburner effect when cruising. ($1850 upgrade)
