An amazing opportunity to buy one of the sexiest Sunseeker powerboat models ever built at a fraction of the usual price. These boats are very popular due to their excellent sea keeping, performance and build quality (nothing like an American boat!). It is an unfinished project, so much of the hard work has been done as I wanted it totally restored to keep as our family boat but I have now bought a larger Sunseeker which has just arrived so this has to go straight away! It is currently ashore in Newhaven. The boat had been left for some time, the cover blew off in a storm and the boat then over time filled with fresh water. The water was drained but the engines were ruined. The engines have been removed and disposed of, outdrives removed and transom shields removed. I then bought a replacement pair of newer Volvo 500 V8's (210hp each) which have only done 440 hours, they were running fine but at present the heads are off to have new gaskets and a check over. They come with the wiring looms, risers, original spec details and all the dials. The transom shields and valuable 290DP stern drives are included but will require servicing/re-building. The boat will require new cockpit upholstery and interior cushions and carpets. It has just had a lot of time and money spent on a fresh coat of hard anti-fouling, the waterlines and coach lines have been repainted and one side of the hull has been cut back to show how well the gelcoat will polish up. Bear in mind it is a 91 boat so does have chips, scratches marks etc as would be expected but it will look great with some more time and work. It does have the anchor and chain and has the rare option of taller pulpit rails and is a white hull which looks more modern and looks better than the faded blue and red versions. To be clear you are buying the boat strictly as it is, as an unfinished project in need of work with a pair of engines, transoms and drives to be serviced and re-installed. These models retail at £25,000 for a good one so you could have this finished to your taste and on the water at a bargain price. Payment by bank transfer or cash strictly within 48 hours of auction end, it is the buyers responsibilty to collect from Newhaven, it can stay where it is if you want to take over the storage, it's very reasonable and they have full servicing, workshop facilities and a chandlery.
