14' Sears / SeaKing fishing boat.
Overall in good shape. Runs, Floats, and trailers just fine. The hardware on the seats likes to vibrate out.
So they are loose, if you want them, you should get some locking hardware to reattach. Otherwise, boat is fine.
Has some dents and scratches, but doesn't leek. New transom. Trailer has a new axle and springs with buddy bearings.
I bought the axle to with to use a 5x4.5 lug pattern.
That way it would use the same rim and tire as my Ford Ranger - and I wouldn't have to worry about a spare.Uses a 1 7/8th ball, 4 flat connector.Tires hold air and don't go flat. they are showing early signs of age cracking.
If you are taking it on a few hundred mile road trip, and don't drive a ford ranger/bronco/van - I would at least get a spare. Has newer rims. If not for the dirt, they would look brand new.
Has steel valve stems. Trailer does not have a bow stop. With such a light boat, I just ran a strap on the front and back, and I have never had a problem.
The low-price straps are included - wouldn't hurt to bring some spares though. Bunks are moved close together so I can use the trailer to tow my stand-up jetski. If you arent going to use this for a multi-purpose trailer, I would move them further apart. Engines is a 70's Johnson 6 HP outboard.
Completely gone through about 2 years ago. New carb, water pump, lower seals, crank seals, coils, plugs, wires, points, fuel pump, fuel lines, grease, etc. Engine runs fine. Never broken down on me/left stranded. Fuel tank/hose is a 6 gallon Attwood.
Both is decent shape, the hose probably only has a year or 2 left in it. It's not fast. Fighting the Colorado River current, GPS gave me 13-14mph down river, about 11 fine.
It'll push 2 adults up river without problem.I've never taken the boat into calmer waters, so I don't know the speed/performance on flat water.
However I can tell you it'll handle boat wake, and choppy water just fine. Both California current. Have title for boat, and transfer paperwork for trailer. (In California a trailer title is optional)Does it come with any fishing gear?
No.
Reason being, I've never actually been fishing. I have this boat because it is a low cost way to get on the water.
Boat is reliable, maintenance is minimal, and seemingly only use a quart of gas for 2 hours of use.
I've used it to explore beaches and coves, and hang out in the marina. Local pick-up, or you can arrange shipping.
You don't have to pick it up the day the auction ends, but I don't want to store it for the next 2 years.
I'm here 7 days a week, so you can pick it up whenever.
