Made in 1990 by Whixall Boatyard, Bluebell is a traditional comfortable boat with oak and mahogany interior. It has a  4 cylinder Thornycroft (Mitsubishi) engine fitted in 2000 and a PRM gearbox also fitted at the same time. An April 2016 structural survey has shown that all platework, propshaft, propellor and rudder are in good order with only minor loss to the plates (propshaft, bearings etc. changed about 8 years ago). Engine runs smoothly and has plenty of power for rivers.The boat was manufactured with an 8mm base plate and 6mm hull sides. Note that steel used in boats of this era is generally better quality and longer lasting than that in modern boats.There is a rear double bedroom with airing cupboard, central bathroom and kitchen, dinette that makes another solid and comfortable double bed, and a seating area with log burner, with Victorian tile surround. There is a wardrobe, drawers under the dinette and rear bed, all good quality with brass knobs and hinges. The kitchen has 2 large under surface cupboards, cutlery drawer and 3 other drawers. The cooker has 4 burners, grill and oven. The bow has lockers either side for anchor, ropes etc and a double gas locker). Easy to handle and turns on a sixpence. We have had Bluebell for 6 years and are reluctantly selling it.  Other details are:
