Out of the very first Hammond mould with timber dash, early deck design / cockpit surrounds and red gelcoat finish inside the hull. Tandem axle trailer with Dragway mags. 4 x new light truck tyres and wheel bearings done. Trailer has current S.A. registration. Inside the boat had been carpeted on the sides. As per the photos the carpet has been removed leaving glue residue. This easily sands off and the original timber panelling is still in good condition and could be re-stained / varnished. Cloth seats have been redone by a previous owner and are in good condition. The deck of the boat has been painted black by a previous owner. I was planning to strip this off and expose the original gelcoat / lines. 302 Ford Windsor V8 – complete motor and dog clutch. All quality TAWCO gear. Engine is currently out of the boat and disassembled. It has been inspected (acid bathed and sonic tested) and needs sleeves fitted to 3 bores. My plan was to find another Windsor block and bolt all of the existing gear to it. The boat is complete minus gauges and windscreen. Structurally it is in excellent condition. These boats regularly fetch $15,000.00 + making this a rare and worthwhile project. Note - this boat is advertised elsewhere and may be withdrawn at any time if sold prior. Located in Adelaide and inspection is welcome.
