1983 Endeavour 26 This Endeavour 26 was purchased as a project boat to bring it back to its original specifications 2 years ago. To date the restoration project has cost in excess of $10,000 without taking man hours into account. The Vessel has an outstanding hull with no defects to be found. There is no osmosis in the hull and the deck is very solid. The mast has new rigging and all of the halyards have been replaced with Spectra lines. New clutch handles have been replaced. A new Raymarine speed, log and depth instruments have been installed together with a new fusion radio Bluetooth stereo system. Complete new electrical wiring throughout the Vessel. The Yanmar YSE 8 Horse Power motor has been removed and replaced with a New Tohatsu 5 HP Long shaft outboard motor. The existing Yanmar YSE 8 Horse Power motor is in pieces and together with a Second Yanmar YSE 8 Horse Power motor that I sourced could be rebuilt. However due to economic cost I considered that it was better to have a new outboard motor installed. The Mainsail has a new sail cover with lazy jacks installed. The headsail is average and it comes with a couple of small spinnakers. Inside the Vessel the cabin in very tidy, new carpet installed and does not leak and has a dry bilge. Endeavour Yachts are known for their strength, reliability and ease of sailing. All receipts from the day of purchase are available. This Vessel is located in Port Macquarie Marina and would be an ideal first boat owner for cruising or twilight racing.
