1984 HATTERAS SPORT FISHERMANTWIN DETROIT DIESELS (6V92)TOURNAMENT RIGGED! RUPP OUTRIGGERS/ LEE FIGHTING CHAIR64 MILE FURINO RADAR/ AUTO PILOTNEWER GENERATOR WITH LESS THAN 100 HRSSAME OWNER FOR OVER 18YRS!EXTERIOR:The hull of this boat was recently painted. It has a clean presence with the exception of a rub through the new paint. The are a few here and there nicks but nothing major. Completely cosmetic! The flybridge deck flooring is solid and clean. The top that covers the flybridge was recently replaced along with the 3 front plastic windows. INTERIOR:The interior of this boat is very spacious. It has some cosmetic needs, there is a throw down rug as you enter the boat. All of the wood was refinished some time ago. The running water works along with the shower. The reverse cycle heat/ ac systems function properly. There is granite countertops and new tile on the bathroom floor. ELECTRONICS:64 mile Furino radar/ autopilot951 Northstar gps ( needs power button) will turn on.Ship to shore radio and depth finderENGINE:Twin Detroit Diesel 6v92 with around 2000 hrs on rebuilt engines. In the years of ownership there was special wrapping done to the turbo and exhaust system along with soundproofing to the floor boards. Both engines run. There is a possibility that the turbos may need to be rebuilt. The engines operate at normal temperature. There is a halon system that needs to be recharged.SHORT STORY:This is a great opportunity for someone to own a top of the line offshore vessel. My dad has owned this boat for over 18yrs. Originally purchased from St Augustine Florida and then sailed all the way home to Brooklyn NY. He was on a countless search for a Hatteras. Having many friends with Vikings, Posts and Ocean yachts he felt as though the Hatteras was # 1. This boat has some cosmetic/ mechanical needs. Nothing major for the right person. It still holds a powerful appearance and solid ride. It saddens my dad to sell this boat but health issues forces him to part with it. We are willing to help any prospective buyer in their purchase.
