Take a look at this newly refurbished Carolina Skiff 2170 Center Console equipped with a nearly new 2015 Mercury 75 hp 4 stroke motor and sitting on a stout single axle galvanized trailer.Mechanical:We'll make this real simple ... EVERYTHING IS NEARLY NEW !! Starting with the 2015 Mercury 75ELPT 4 stroke motor that runs perfect and was just serviced with new fluids, filters, water pump, and plugs currently showing just over 400 hrs and is still under warranty. This motor when rigged had a new control box along with the newer style SmartCraft Digital gauge installed that provides lots of useful information. The Center Console is a Brand New OEM Carolina Skiff Med size that was installed along with the newly powder coated T-top that has new canvas. On the dash it has new switches, complete new wiring, ground posts, Raymarine Fishfinder/Depth Sounder, and newer steering helm with Brand New Steering Wheel. The fuel tank is mounted under the console with new tie down straps and keeps the deck clear of any additional clutter so it's easy to walk around the whole boat with ease. The fuel lines, primer bulb, and all fuel connections from the tank to the motor are brand new. The battery box with brand new battery are really the only component on the deck but is nicely tucked in the back corner out of the way. As you can see we tried to spare no expense to make this a great functional fishing vessel so you can just worry about fishing or cruising.Cosmetic:As you can see from the pictures provided this old girl is looking good and will turn heads on the water. We started by wet sanding, compounding, buffing, and polymer waxing/sealing the hull to bring out a pretty nice shine. The bottom of the hull was sanded down and a new coat of bottom paint was applied so leaving it in the water is no problem. Then we moved to the inside as we stripped the decking down to a empty hull so we could do a fresh coat of gel and splatter paint. Once completed we added the new center console, new leaning post, T-Top, a pair of fishing swivel chairs, and plenty of aluminum fishing pole stands. We finished off the renovation by adding a new rub rail to give the hull a more refined look as most of these skiffs don't have them. Your buddies will never guess the age of this boat as it looks great, has a nearly new outboard, new deck paint, and all new furniture. Trailer:The trailer in the picture is included with the sale of this great vessel as it was custom built to fit this hull perfectly. During inspection we found the bunks to be extremely solid, lights in working order, winch solid , tongue jack newer, tires have plenty of tread, and bearings were just greased. Be rest assured it will take this vessel to your local watering hole or to the Florida Keys with no problems.
