.Up for auction is a 1968 Hatteras 38 foot Double Cabin Motor Yacht. This yacht is currently moored at Honey Creek Landing Marina in Grove, OK. It is one of the earliest fiberglass yachts and the hull is exceptionally sturdy, due to the thicker fiberglass used in early yacht construction. She is powered by 2 Crusader 454 gasoline-powered engines, which have both had top-end rebuilds completed within the last 2 years. There have been no engine hours put on them since the rebuilds. This yacht originally came with fiberglass fuel tanks, but these have been replaced with new tanks - one polyurethane and one aluminum - due to a bad experience with ethanol gasoline. The entire interior of this yacht is trimmed in mahogany, which does need some cosmetic repairs in a few places. Also, the carpet in the main cabin was removed while the engines were being worked on & has not been replaced. On the exterior, other than some new carpet on the aft deck & a good cleaning, she is ready to go. This yacht sleeps 6, 2 in the V-berth, 2 in bunks beds on the starboard side, and 2 more in the aft cabin. She has 2 heads with showers and a small, but fully equipped galley (stove, oven, fridge, microwave, sink, cupboards.) The A/C & heater both work well. A Kohler generator provides power while off shore power and on the water. Included is a brand new set of brass props. This yacht was originally from Florida, but was relocated to Oklahoma 5 years ago. We have continued to keep her Coast Guard registry current. We love her, but just do not have the time to spend enjoying her.would be interested in trade Hot rods smaller boat, motor cycle?
