Selling on behalf of a friend..Length 35 feet , Beam 10 feet 2 inches , Draught 3 feet 6 inches.Engine ..85 b.h.p. Lancing Ford Diesel with 3:1 reduction gear.Built by ..Sussex Shipbuilding Company at Shoreham , Sussex This wooden carvel built boat was built in 1950 designed for Estuary and Coastal cruising. The information supplied in this description is taken from the last survey report carried out by Ernest C Wilson..Naval Architect and Surveyor. 8th August 1991 who at that time describe the boat still in as new condition.The hull construction is mahogany planking on oak frames. Deck is Teak with mahogang superstructure and Columbian pine mast.The boat comes fully equiped and would be suitable as a live aboard incorporating a double berth rear of the wheelhouse with separate access and 2 single berth in the foreward cabin.The heads is located in the bows incorporating shower and sink. Chain locker with anchor is accessed here includes escape hatch.Main cabin includes cooker on gimbal with sink and pumped water. The stainless steel charcoal heater is also included.The Electrics are contained in a main console and can be isolated as required.The Diesel engine is in very good condition is easy to access and capable of providing a good 8-10 knotThis boat still has approximately 2 years Boat Safety Scheme ticket remaining.At present the boat is on private moorings and the purchaser will be allowed to use this mooring on a temporary basis up to 3 months only.Please contact 01673 885278 for details.
