Description Condition: Used Year: 1977 Make: Boston Whaler
Boston Whaler Squall 9' sailboat / dinghy with 2 ½ hp motor and trailerAn Unsinkable sailboat and rowing dinghy that is self bailing. No matter how much it rains you will never have to bail water! This is an easily rigged sailboat; insert the rudder on the stern, flip down the built in dagger board with the flip of a lever, insert the mast & raise the sail and your off! If you run out of wind it rows easily back to shore. If rowing with one person, place the oars in the center oar locks. If more then one person are in the boat then place the oars in the forward oar locks and it will balance perfectly & you not hit your passengers while rowing. It's very well thought out, it's an amazing sailboat! The bottom is coated with a permanent copper epoxy bottom paint that after a season in the water only requires power washing and it's ready for next season! We used this as our tender towed behind our sailboat. It has almost no drag, at hull speed I could grab the Squall's towing line with one hand and pull the Squall in with one hand! Try that with an inflatable!!! Because of the lack of drag the Squall is a really amazing row boat.
Notes: The motor could use tuneup. The seat & cover for the storage cubby needs refinishing to look like the photo's.No shipping, local pickup only.
