AZZURRA Sixteen and a half foot, offshore high speed open power boat, blue over white complete with nice fully working break back trailer with good tyres and running rollers. (Worth at least £600 on its own) Fast planning hull and great offshore performance in poor seas. Nicely refurbished after I bought her, now shipshape and Bristol fashion. Classic Driver D500 (hull number 1787) high performance sports boat seating four, equipped with 75 HP Yamaha three cylinder outboard, electric start, and electric hydraulic tilt trim, electric choke. Seats four, two bucket seats to front and shaped rear bench, (three at a pinch) in fully marine carpeted cockpit with stainless steel guard rails. Ample storage pockets and stern storage. Two skiing tow eyes on stern and stainless steel, fold up boarding ladder. Full set deck fittings including four cleats, two fairleads, stem handle and ensign base, ensign on aerodynamic pole. Comes compete with cockpit cover for use afloat, (will last a few more seasons). Balanced to plane at minimum eight knots so can be launched and comply with most harbour speed limits without planning. This boat has been used extensively in the Solent and beyond over the last couple of years and is fully equipped for costal use. Instrumentation by Stowe comprises electronic log, Navigator 1 and echo sounder with anchor watch, Navsounder. Fully compensated yellow dial, marine compass by Imhoff. Marine band VHF by Navico (removable and not shown in pictures, fits center below dash) removable 2.5 metre whip aerial. Air horn (the deck horn looks tired would probably replace if keeping, (works fine) all motors and relays fine and mounted under deck). Wire steering, cable single Morse controls to engine; forward, reverse, neutral and separate speed. Fully equipped for night use including illuminated instruments, all navigation and running lights, cockpit light. Large integral marine plastic fuel tank located forward for balance and trim, fully vented with deck filler and gauge on dash, additional portable tank and split feed in storage located to stern. Twelve volt battery in good condition located underfloor in own compartment with isolator. Un-isolated automatic bilge pump, on mercury switch with manual override. Full marine switch panel for engine and instrumentation with Kill Cord isolator. Fire extinguisher, Lose equipment includes four matching blue fenders, boat hook, mooring hook, four long mooring warps and mooring lines anchor with chain and FOUR LIFE JACKETS. Recent new Yamaha propeller (2014 over £200), and 2015, starter motor spring and overhaul to hydraulic tilt trim with new hydraulic pipe. This is an old boat so not immaculate and engine could benefit with a respray, but according to the Yamaha engineer they were designed for Africa to run on anything and it’s “in beautiful condition” Spares available (Not a Johnson) Thieves prefer smart engines! So best left alone! This is a well-loved boat only selling as wife says I have too many toys and I am moving on to steam launch under construction. Payment £200 deposit by Pay-pal balance bank transfer before collection. Engine demonstrated running to purchaser before or on collection however any inspection welcome.
