25FT Fishing Boat Carver Built2 cylinder Petter / Lister ava air-cooled 12hp Engine and gearbox all runs well has to be hand started with a starting handle no alternators, No starter motors, No batteries about as basic as you can get Just put the handle on and wind her over and she starts runs all day without using hardly any diesel This is the reason I bought the boat. NO HEADACHES! as not much to worry about. Boat could do with painting up abit now, I painted the bottom about 4 years ago. It's Moored at Thornham Harbour Near Hunstanton where it has been for the last 5 years. Possibly you can take over the mooring with the harbour masters consent It's £50 a year This would need to be arranged so I can speak to him and I'm sure that would be okay. Need to sell the boat now due to not having a lot of time due to work commitments just don't get the time to use it anymore. It's a lovely relaxing place to have the Boat moored. It's tidal so when the tide goes out the boat is on sand which can be an advantage for working on the boat. I was told the boat was 1940s and the engine is 1960s. I've looked on the internet over the years and you can still buy parts for the engine but to be honest you don't really need to as these types of engines don't really have problems. The engine sounds nice because it's 2 cylinder it sounds like an old canal boat. that's another reason why I bought this boat, It's so much better than having a lump of fibreglass with a boring modern engine. these old boats are getting rare, Not many left now. So I want it to go to a good home with someone who's going to appreciate it. any questions I would prefer you to ring me as I'm not near my computer all the time but messaging is okay but I just might not get back to you as quick.
