The trapper 500 has a highly regarded reputation as a safe family cruiser and club racerSundance is currently lying afloat in Fowey and I include use of my mooring if required till the end of the sailing seasonI have owned this boat for 20 years and am selling in order to purchase a new boat.Over £12,000 has been spent on this boat since 2013.Brand New Volvo D1 20 Diesel engine professionally fitted by Jimmy Marine in Fowey. I paid £4000 for the engine, £1500 for gearbox and leg, £829 for instrument panel and an additional £1699.90 to Jimmy for additional bits and labour.Much work carried out by Kim Furniss Boat Building Marine Services including new bulkhead and chart bulkhead, decks re glassed with resin fibre mix , new bases made for stanchion's and all refitted, winches serviced, new wooden box made for instruments on port side, new jib sheet tracks and stop ends, e.t.c coming to over £2260 in labour.New Anchor and chain.New Neptune 4500 cooker and grill 2016.New sea toilet.All sails cleaned and repaired by Sail Shape of Fowey every winter, new eroding edge fitted to the jib sheet last year.All interior re trimmed in blue marine cloth last year.New Lawrence Chart plotter/fish finder last year. Additional chart plotter at chart table.New VHF Radio with DSC.Two marine batteries with one replaced last year.This is a genuine bargain and in very good condition for a yacht of this vintage
