Sailing Yacht- FAMOUS 26’ KINGFISHER 1973-The Wild Duck 3 I have owned the Yacht for three years, and with previous owners The Wild Duck has sailed many successful trips one as far as Portugal. The specification model- KINGFISHER is well renowned and will bring reliability and pleasure to someone whom has more time to enjoy her other than myself. Grab yourself a bargain I simply just don’t have the time anymore.Powered by a Yanmar 12 hp diesel engine; noted for their robust reliability. It has never failed to start and never missed a beat, very reliable engine. Well maintained family yacht, 5 BERTH including large ‘V’ berth in forepeak, two single settee berths and Marine toilet. The Yacht comes with the original sail and Forsail are wind damaged and therefore redundant. However the spinnaker and bad weather sail are working fine. The Boat has still been used successfully for fishing trips since and the engine etc in fine working order and also comes with a leisure battery .Antifoul and anodes due to be done and recommend to change stop cocks. Boarding Ladder. Interior upholstery in need of a little TLC to fit a personal preference. Nonetheless all furnishings have been well kept, are clean and provide the basic amities.Comes with two large sized anchors, Port AND Start bat Lights, a selection of flares, a hand and fixed compass and fire extinguisher. All rigging and sails in full working order and controlled from the cockpit, which is self-draining. Controlled via tiller and rudder, this yacht can truly turn on a penny! VHF Radio, NASA weather updater, AUTO Pilot, Flags & Flares, Manual pumps, charts, TWO Gas operated life jackets, Gas Burner, Pots and Pans and many more extras included.
