1981 ROSE HULL 20' LAKE LAUNCH. This is a quality replica of a teens era lake launch. As I understand it, this was built originally using a vintage steam power unit. Later on (last ten years, or so) it was re-powered using a VOLVO PINTA diesel (9 HP) engine. It has lots of brass, full weather equipment (side curtains) and is laid out in the spirit of a "picnic boat" with lots of seating and folding tables. It has a canopy top, with all brass fixtures and hardware. The hull is fiberglass. The trailer goes with it. Receipts show that the motor had a full rebuild in the summer of 2014. This has only been used in fresh water. Presently, it is in storage in central Virginia. The engine spins over with a battery, but we have not been able to make it run. I believe it probably is in need of minor work to be useable, but you be the judge. Vintage boats are not my area of expertise. $11,900, or an early P-1800 coupe (project or otherwise) would consider as a trade. Offers welcome. Email More photos available.
