Hi - I have for sale my Four Winns 205 Sundowner with Volvo 5.7 GSi v8 engine which I have owned since new.The boat is a year 2000 model but was bought from Shepherds of Windermere in early 2001"Avalon" has never been in the water for more than two weeks at a time. We have trailed it on holidays mainly to Loch Lomond and Windermere but also to Milford Haven, the South of France and to the French Alps. The rest of the time it has been stored in my companies warehouse for cleaning and maintenance.I have kept a record of all expenditure (except mooring fees) and petrol used which works out at 3.2 gallons per hour of mixed use which is pretty good for a boat with this size of engine.Recent purchases have been a new tonneau cover (Canvasman of Otley) and new Volvo manifolds and risers. (replaced before they failed as a precaution).The engine and drive have been maintained properly with a recent £400.00 service on the drive. The hour meter is showing 380 hours.I took out the factory cockpit carpet when new and replaced it with a sheet of vinyl and remains unused. The complete camper-canvases have only been used once or twice and are like new.The boat makes an excellent ski-boat with plenty of power and with the cuddy to get changed.There is a porta-potty in the cuddy and a stow-away teak table for the cockpit.A new spare prop is included along with some engine spares, ropes and fenders.I am including the twin axle Indespension trailer in the sale but if the buyer does not want this then we can negotiate a lower price for the boat. The trailer has had new brake cables and a brake/bearing service last winter with 5 new tyres.Any prospective buyer can view the boat on its trailer in my warehouse and see the engine running on muffs. I can arrange a demonstration in the water after a price has been agreed and a deposit taken.Please email if you need any more information and thanks for looking.
