It is a 15 Foot Clark Hull with a 40hp Mariner Outboard (1996).I have owned this boat for around 5 years now, and in this time this boat has seen a lot of fish but definitely not enough hours on the water - and this is one of the reason I will be selling it.This is one of the most stable Aluminium boats I have ever been on, the width and design of the hull must be one of the best for this size because I have been on boats over 5m that don't handle the water this well.
In 2013 I did a partial restore on the boat, I decked out the interior with everything I needed to make fishing on this beast an absolute pleasure. I put a lot of time and money in to making this boat what it is, but it never really received the time on the water it deserved. I personally re-carpeted the whole interior and fitted a stereo, speakers, a ton of rod holders, electric motor and much more. The boat does however need some love, it runs and you can take it out for a fish the second you buy it, however it will need some small repairs and maintenance to make it perfect. So please see the 'Features' section for everything this boat has, then see the 'Needs Attention' section to see everything I feel may need attention.I would love to fix all the little things myself and keep fishing, but the reality is that I have less and less time these days to fish and I am moving in to an apartment with no parking spot for the boat. Here is a list of all details on the boat, and I will also include all the things I think are CONS or need to be fixed. Note: The price will reflect this. If the boat had nothing that needed replacing or fixing, I would be selling it for much more.Features 15 Foot CLARK Hull (rare and very stable)Carpeted Casting Deck with storageRemovable floor - made from 18mm Form-Grade plywood - it has been sealed and carpeted.Jarvis Walker Electric Motor - SWXB model with Foot Pedal - 54lb Thrust. This is mounted on a Railblaza Platform which means it is completely removable. (See pics)All screws used for fit-out are stainless steel.Travel Rod holders mounted on bait box, I put my rods in this holder while i am not fishing - so they are safe and dont get in the way.Fusion Marine Radio with 2 6 Inch Fusion Speakers, mounted Flush.Carpeted box with Marine switches for Electronic devicesBoat and trailer are registeredStainless LED Navigation LightNeeds AttentionTrailer needs replacing - No doubt about this - it is in terrible condition and hardly road worthy. The hull does let in water - There are a couple small holes - These can be fixed by an alumium welder very easily.Electric Motor has some wear and wobbles a tad, and it does not work as it should - Left/Right works - however the Thrust does NOT. I believe this is an issue with the foot pedal.Mariner Outboard Motor Needs a service. When it is cold, it needs a few pulls to get it started - but once it starts, it will start all day on the first pull. The motor is good and doesn't have ridiculous hours on it - I didn't get to use the boat as much as I wanted and when I did, I was using the electric a lot for flicking plastics in the river/estuary.Paint - the under side of the boat is flaking it's paint, I repainted the top lip and edges of the boat in 2013 with marine grade paint.Seats - A tad loose and the mounts are rusted - but they are still usable and safe - just need to give them a tightenEXTRASI have all safety gear required to pass a maritime inspection on the water.I also have a bunch of Railblaza items that I never fitted or used - for the right price they will be included.
