Wooden boat 23' vintage Kauri pine river cruiser, floating project.

Lack of time plus medical issues force sale of this charming old lady. Currently on mooring at Booker Bay (Central Coast, mooring NOT included). Fitted presently with 9.9 hp Suzuki outboard which could be available (cheaply) by negotiation (o/b bracket included in sale). Has prop. shaft plus bronze prop. and rudder (prev fitted with grey Holden engine and Clae g/box). Electric bilge pump included. Listing for a friend who will be happy to discuss further. Photos #1 and #2 were taken some years ago after much painstaking effort by owner. Will upload later photos in a few days. DO NOT bid based on these photos alone. Inspection recommended or at least make contact. We have no wish to misrepresent current condition Offer with or without outboard and tank considered. Boat is currently registered, can be transferred to buyer on a pro-rata basis (or not, as desired). Can allow max one week to arrange pick up and remove. PLEASE don't get involved unless these conditions suit.
On 12-Jul-16 at 12:34:32 AEST, seller added the following information:OK, time for a dose of reality. When I said 'some years ago' I am reminded that was actually 2007 (!) so you need to add 9 years of comparative neglect to photos 1, 2, and 9. All these photos are old actually.
Boat has always been kept afloat but there is a leak or two in the hull as well as being prone to filling up with rain where applicable. Priority is find someone to give it a good home and tow it off the mooring within the next couple of weeks. If you feel confident to do this, please make contact.
The buyer will need to assume ownership and responsibility of the boat on payment. I have had personal experience when it comes to rescuing unloved old boats, so be warned! Cheers Bob.
On 13-Jul-16 at 16:24:12 AEST, seller added the following information:Important update, PLEASE read carefully if seriously interested in this boat. Current photos are not available due to accidental erasure (unfortunately). Boat has been slipped in past few weeks, underside cleaned etc.
The bad news. Some new timbers on deck/gunwales purchased some time ago as Kauri have rotted and will need replacement. Paint on rest of hull is quite dirty, I guess will need repainting.
Suzuki outboard will now be included in sale, has not been started for some time but has been clear of the water, no guarantees but was in good order and has not been used since, (turns over, gears select etc).
