you can literally eat over it of how nice and clean it is! oil was changed every 80 hours just because, special filtration station was custom made over the tankto have the diesel filtered 3 times for 1 hour every time refills and or 30 minutes every day prior to use. New starter, new water pump impeller with full circuit cleaning performed new belt, new hoses, new fittings, new turn engine off safety system installed, new antifreeze , new pressure cap, additional overheat alarm installed, every bolt checked everything lubed and greased ... consumption of diesel is 1 G/H at 7 Knots. This Perkins Prima 65 HP engine installed in 2002 It is smooth and extremely strong! will not stop under the most severe conditions! Like a rock! Low hours, Injectors last cleaned 70 Engine Hours ago. (November 2015)There are two powerful exhausts in the engine room which btw, is huge and very easy to move around and or perform any repairs! I am 6'3 340 lbs and I do fit in there too! Turn Key Conditions and I am not exaggerating it at all!Of course there are things every time and all the time that can be improved and or upgradedIn between the amazing care of the previous owner and ALL I have done just the past few months, this Classic Sailyacht is THE best available! I Challenge you to find a better one for the price keeping in mind this is not a 2016 Vessel! And yet it is a boat like no other for the year, conservation and appearance! This Vessel is Smooth like nothing I tried before, in frontal 8 ft waves 3 seconds interval, like I had back in December last year, for 8 long hours. It navigated in a slow 6 Knots pace like it owned the Sea!and if you can really steer it just right the vessel will not rock side to side, not even once! This hull just cut the swells like a sharp blade! Impressive! No banging at all on the way down! And no fast nose up either! This Vessel is a real home in the water! Heavy super solid provided incredible & very comfortable shelter and I am sure if you enjoy the life style like I do! You cannot get any better! How does it feel to be inside Abigail? Let me tell you.... it feels like being home on the water! Beginning from the back cabin! The back cabin has been modified to accommodate a very comfortable queen sized bed. Yes, the real deal a 12" memory foam mattress is there to guarantee a good night sleep after a sailing day! The original little bathroom was removed an you are now left with a real room. It has two back view windows so you can take a peak outside from laying down. It has plenty of closet space all around it and a rim around the bed so you can have everything you should need handy at all times. also on top of the bed there are cabinets with lots of storage room. A big sized closet is right next to the bed with many drawers and also a bench that opens up to more storage. The boat has a heating system that works by heat exchange using the coolant from the engine, that keeps the cabin warm during cold days. It also has an installed flat screen tv, and a second independent entertainment system with dvd players, stereo and so on. This cabin is completely private and the only connection from it to the main cabin is through the center cockpit (or through the engine room.)The Center Cockpit has brand new cushions. They were just upholstered and look amazing. Seats are all around the steering wheel so you can have company as you command Abigail. As you go down the main cabin you will be amazed that it does indeed look like a mini apartment. It is so wonderful to fully be able to stand up and move inside. A full kitchen with a hillerange 3 burner gas stove, microwave oven and deep sink. Everything works fine! There is also a mobile home sized fridge in perfect working condition. The fridge runs on either electricity or gas, so you can have it running the entire time, on the ocean or inland. The main cabin has an entertainment system.. radio, dvd player and flatside tv. It even has a dimmer for the lights! It is a very romantic boat! It even has a wine glass rack on top of the table. Fishing rod hacks are on top of the other couch. The dinette consists of a very comfortable booth that seats 5 - 6 people and across there is a sofa that will seat another 4 - 5 people. All upholstery has bee redone and it looks awesome. There are two bunk beds on this main living room. The living area of the boat sleeps 4 (two on couches, two on bunk beds) All the seats have deep storage cabinets inside them (under and behind)The bathroom is the best I have ever seen on a sailing boat with full sized toilet, a deep sink and shower head. there are two full closets on this cabin, with hangers, shelves and storage compartments. The other room is a classic V shaped room, mattress are in great shape and it has top shelves for yet more storage. There are drawers on the bottom of these beds. The boat has plenty of lights everywhere and several outlets. I also have installed fans everywhere. so you will be very comfortable in every situation. The best thing about this boat is that it has been loved and everything works. The boat will come with everything it has.. The only thing missing in this boat is your decorating touches! The boat has a state of the art new anchor and a spare anchor as well. Very comfortable to operate and the new installed windlass in this boat it makes departure a breeze! Powerful enough to drag this huge yacht on its own power against the NY harbor inlet low tide current!!! All the safety equipment and lifesavers will be left on the boat. brand new radio never even used radio, new fire extinguishers, and so on. *** Bottom was done as it is supposed to be just back in January 2016 and Hull Painted at the same time, missed only the top deck left for later. Deck is very strong and Super solid!! not one little single tiny soft spot!!!!!!!bottom was done and had no blisters at all! They were replaced by custom made true Lexan glass which it is 25 times stronger than acrylic or Plexiglas. They all received new seal with the very best clear Silicone Sylgard 527 cost of this project alone was $3800.00 Done May 2016....and I am sure to have forgotten a few thingsFrom November 2015 to this day I have invested $16,400.00 in improvements for our Sail Yacht Abigail.I am pricing Abigail at $34,000 which is a good $12 to $14,000 below Its fair real market value simply because we are living in Houston TX now and each round trip for 2 Houston-Norfolk cost us $1800 in Airplane tickets alone plus Marina and staying and as we fly there once or twice every month soon we will eat the price of another boat. Did the Math!We were even considering bringing it to Houston or taking to Miami but it is far for us making it extremely time consuming to do it ourselves or just very expensive to hire someone to do that. So we want to sell it and buy another one like her but closer by this side of the country. We are basically burning it at such a low price based on the saving alone on flights to Norfolk We pay a boat sitter to keep it safe and clean when we are far. an d She can show the boat any day as far as we give her 24 hrs notice.I am with Ebay since 1998 with 1278 successful everyone happy transactions leading me to a perfect 100% positive feedbackFree Delivery anywhere! You pay just trip expenses. If I do not sell this boat now, I take it to Miami and will not sell this vessel for less than $60,000.00 and if not just give it to my kids go have funI truly do believe after extensive research and investment, to be the right fair value.
