This listing is for my much loved Zodiac Futura. The boat, trailer and engine are in excellent condition and have been very well looked after. It has never been stored deflated and always kept on its trailer and garaged over the winter periods. It has a lot of custom features and accessories that set it apart from other zodiac future boats. I have all the documents for the boats from its original purchase. It has very low hours on the engine as I don’t get to use it much hence the reason for selling the boat approx. 200hours. I mainly do beach launching at Bridlington and some river use so the trailer has been specifically designed to make beech launching as easy as possible, which has meant that the trailer has a lot of modifications from the standard trailer that you won’t find anywhere else as I designed it myself. Also because of its main use in the sea it has had very regular greasing and fresh water clean outs to remove any salt. I always removed the trailers bearing and wheels at the end of the season so it was not sat on its wheels and put new ones in just before using it the next season. And it has just had its baring replaced. I have had issues with other trailers that have not been looked after in salt water and did not want to take any risks with this trailer for the sake of a few £ bearing. So I always made sure I was happy to tow it anywhere. The boat is ready to be taken on the water and includes all the things that you would need to get out on the water such as a buoyancy aid, 2 stroke oil, anchor and rope. Video 3 - Is from a few years ago just before i installed the bench seat and the engine is esactly the same then as it is now so i did not see a reason to re make the video.The Engine -
The enigne is a 2008 same year as the boat evinrude E-tec it an auto lube 2 stroke so no mixing of the oil and fuel.
It uses very little oil and is also really good on fuel i get through about 1litre per season of oil.
The boat has plenty of power with this enigine it can easily tow a skier or other things and can easily get on plane fully loaded with 6 people.
The engine runs really well and has been extreamy reliable.
It also has a auto fogging feature so the winterisation is very easy to do and i always did it at the end of every season.The Trailer -
the trailer started life as a standard indispension merit 2 trailer and over time i designed and created new ways of making better and better.
The flotation tyres make bech launching so easy as they dont sink in soft sand and they dont sink in wet sand like a standard tyre would do.
The boats guide wheels that help the boat on and off the trailer make launching and recovery really quick and it also makes it easier on the boat as it takes the weight off the buffer bar.
The winch is one of my favourite parts of the trailer as it makes it so easy for one person to launch the boat end recover it, as the winch is remotley controlled you are not tied down to one spot and can assist with getting the boat on the trailer.Unfortunately I don’t live near a river or anywhere I could test drive the boat but I will defiantly show the engine running and give a good tour of everything to whoever buys the boat.
