This sports craft 1500 fiberglass runabout manufactured by Mustang Marine in 1981. The previous owner had the transom fully rebuilt 2 years ago and the gearbox on the original Chrysler 70 horsepower engine redone about 6 years ago and there has not been an issue since. This boat would make a great entry level ski or fishing boat as it is totally original with a galvanized tilt trailer which means the boat can be launched/retrieved in the water effortlessly. The deep V hull makes it very stable in choppy water and great handling. It has the original steel 23 liter fuel tank who gives us a full days skiing for about $30 which makes it a super economical speed boat. The trailer bearings were replaced 2 years ago and the original steel wheels were replaced with 10 inch alloys as seen in the images. The back to back seats are original and in very good condition, they have a couple of minor wear and tear marks, but they are the original seats. it has power tilt and trim and a removable canvas canopy which is also original. It has been in saltwater about 10 times with the previous owner and a total of 12 times with us. This boat is therefore mainly used in fresh water. This boat has NEVER been stored outside which is why it is in such good condition. This boat has been recently serviced. Any inspection is welcome, this is a genuine boat with nothing to hide.
