A quality, low hours, Bombard Aerotec 380; 5 person 3.8M
inflatable boat (SIB), complete with Yamaha15hp (2-stroke) outboard and ready
for fun on the water this Summer.
This rib is in very good condition having been dry stored
from new. Unused for the past 3 years due to ill-health, and with just light occasional
previous use. The Decitex 1100 tubes are in excellent condition, fully
air-tight with no patches. Unlike most Aerotec 380’s on the market, this boat
is equipped with a Ultraflex Cross Bar
Steering System including Steering Helm and Ultraflex side-mount Remote Control
and cables.
Bombard ribs are popular as they have 18” diameter tubes
making them a safe dry boat. The boat comes up quickly on to the plane and is
fast, practical and economical. This rib is wonderful for bay hopping or
river/lake cruising with a family with all gear stowed in the large water-proof
bow bag, or for a day watersports, diving or fishing. Compact size when
deflated allowing it to comfortably fit into the boot of an estate car, and be easily
stored in a garage or dry shed. With Stainless Steel Launching Wheels it is easily
manageable single-handed on land.
The "V" shaped inflatable hull is exclusive to
Bombard and has one small professional repair/patch (shown in photo). Two
inflatable sections form a deep "V" hull ensuring comfort, excellent
performance, maneuverability and speed. The Aerotec air floor is braced by
thousands of polyester cross-stitches and produces the same rigidity as a
traditional solid floor while being substantially lighter.
Engine flushed through and whole outfit hosed down with
fresh water after each use.
The Bombard Aerotec is Category C Rated - Inshore: Designed
for use in coastal waters, large bays, estuaries, lakes and rivers where
conditions up to and including wind force F6 and significant wave heights up to
and including 2m may be experienced.
