1989 Maxum 2000/SR

20' Bowrider, powered by a Mercruiser 230 hp (Chevy 305 5.0l V8), with Alpha 1 out-drive.

Engine starts easy and runs good. It has new coil, cap, rotor, and ignition sensor. Lower unit needs some minor attention. Appears to have a bad seal and could use a new raw water impellar. Tilt/Trim works as it should, and all bellows appear in great shape. All Gauges, controls and lights work as they should. Boat tops out around 47 mph with current prop, but ran around 50 mph with original 3 blade. We wanted smoother cruising and better pulling power for kids on the tubes.

Original Interior is in much better shape than most boats this age, but has some issues in areas, especially across the back. Carpeting is in very good shape. The boat needs a good cleaning, as we haven't used it since last fall.

I will include a pair of wheel chocks for the trailer, an emergency paddle, a pair of basic life jackets, and a pair of color coordinated docking bumpers. Boat tops out around 47 mph with current prop, but ran around 50 mph with original aluminum 3 blade. Add a stainless 3 blade and should be able to get it up around 55 mph. We wanted smoother cruising and better pulling for kids on the tube, so we went with the economical 4 blade aluminum. We are selling because we just don't use it enough to justify paying monthly storage on it. To the best of my knowledge, it has only been in salt water 1 time (we took it out to Shell Key last fall), and it was pressure washed, and engine flushed for about 30 minutes as soon as we got home. This was an Oklahoma boat that made the move with us a year ago, towed 1200 miles. Has clean and clear Florida titles, and current Florida registrations on boat, and trailer.

Boat listed for sale locally, so auction may end early.
